Accept PayPal payments in E-Commerce
Computop Paygate supports over 350 payment methods including PayPal. PayPal is one of the world's leading eWallets for e-commerce, m-commerce and at the PoS, with which around 280 million active users from 200 countries make regular payments. By integrating PayPal into your online store, you too can benefit from this huge user base.
PayPal users log in to their PayPal account during checkout using their e-mail address and password and confirm the payment there (e.g. via direct debit, PayPal credit, credit card and, if applicable, purchase on account). The open invoice amount is immediately credited to your PayPal merchant account, usual bank processing times as for example with bank transfers are omitted. PayPal thus enables real-time payment processing in eCommerce.
For shortened orders Computop Paygate offers the PayPal Express Checkout: Your customer does not have to enter any address data, but clicks on Checkout with PayPal in the shopping cart, logs in there and selects his billing and delivery address with PayPal. Paygate then returns the delivery address to your store as a result parameter.
With address verification and PayPal seller protection, PayPal bears the non-payment risk for you as a merchant for direct debit payments, domestic credit card payments and unjustified buyer complaints.*)
*) Seller protection is always linked to PayPal regulations and conditions. See PayPal terms and conditions.
