The customer selects a bank through which he wants to process the payment. Depending on the region in Europe, up to 97 percent of all end customer banks can already be used with Computop Instant Payment.

Computop Instant Payment is based on a so-called payment initiation service provided by our technology partner Token.io. Via an interface (Open Banking API), the service communicates directly with the customer's bank and triggers the transfer.
Yes, it's secure. The provision of payment initiation services is subject to the strict requirements of the European Union's Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD II). Our technology partner Token.io is continuously audited and certified accordingly by the relevant regulatory authorities.
