Bid Manager Manager (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • Handling complex, public and non-public tender processes as well as qualification competitions of international business customer sales
  • Managing the bidding processes for potential new and existing customers from the public sector as well as analyzing the bidding conditions and supporting the definition of the bidding strategy
  • Coordinating opportunity assessment and feasibility of complex projects with internal departments
  • Coordinating the cross-functional project group and meeting project-relevant milestones and deadlines
  • Collaborating with external solution partners during the project phase and coordinating them
  • Supporting the sales department during bidder appointments
  • Regular reporting
  • Development and maintenance of relevant information
  • Preparation (including market analyses) of bid documents as well as calculation and preparation of bids
  • Optimization of bid management tools and processes
  • Preparation of sales presentations and presentation template

Your Skills

  • Commercial training or successfully completed specialist studies (e.g. business administration) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the payment environmentIdeally, initial professional experience in bid management, proposal management, project management or sales support, e.g. at an IT service provider, or several years of professional experience, e.g. in proposal preparation, contract management, costing, etc. in a technical environment
  • Project management and commercial knowledge as well as affinity for technology
  • Detail orientation and quality awareness as well as an independent working style
  • Strong team and communication skills as well as high customer and solution orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure and hands-on mentality
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • High level of self-motivation, flexibility and assertiveness
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken; other language skills are also welcome
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Experience with tools in operational project management and knowledge documentation (e.g. Jira/Confluence)
